So I always wished I could change parts of myself to look better. Then I started realizing that literally everyone wants to change their looks, and lots of people would love to have certain looks that I have but that I hate about myself. Once I realized this, the entire concept that I have to look a certain way just began to crumble. Beauty standards are a facade. They exist but they aren’t real. You are beautiful and valid just the way you are.

The simple fact is that
God loves you.
Not because he has to,
or has some obligation to,
but because he wants to.
He delights in you.
He sees beauty
when he looks at you.
He sees potential in you.
He called you beloved,
even when you wanted
nothing to do with him.
this is a sign that if you’re not where you want to be, you’re still young and your future is what you make of it. so don’t give up on your dreams thinking that you started too late or you don’t have time. you have plenty of time to master a new skill or chase your daydreams. you still have time and you can do it.
Spend your free time the way you like, not the way you think you’re supposed to.

Look at you. You’re young. And you’re scared. Why are you so scared? Stop caring what other people think. Wear what you want. Say what you want. Listen to the music you want to listen to. Live now. Do it now. Take risks. Tell secrets. This life is yours.

You are good enough.
You are smart enough.
You are pretty enough.
You are enough.
